Billie Faye Hill Dodson

Mrs. Billie Faye Hill Dodson, 74, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2014 after several years of declining health. She was a member of Jefferson Church of Christ in Rural Hall. Of the many things Faye will be remembered for include, her love of flowers, gardening and the love of her family. Most importantly she loved the Lord and her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Dodson, her mother, Effie Hill and two brothers, Bruce and Clayton Hill. Faye is survived by her father, Gilmer Marshall Hill of Pilot Mtn.; a son, Danny Dodson and wife Shelley of Mesa, AZ; a daughter, Anita Levens and husband David of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Anna McCallum Miller and husband Zachary of Winston-Salem, Shea Dodson and Tyler Dodson both of Mesa, AZ and a great-grandchild, Camden Michael Miller, who was born August 15, 2014. Funeral services for Faye will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Jefferson Church of Christ with Jerry Simpkins, Minister and Pastor Danny Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
