Beverly Jean Neal, our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend departed this earthly life on the morning of Friday, November 13, 2020. Beverly was born on October 23, 1962, to the late Leroy and Gladys Moore in Winston-Salem, NC. She received her GED in 1981 from Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, NC., and was employed by Grass America in Kernersville, NC for 20 years. She gained a new profession as a caregiver for many years until her injury prevented her from helping others. Beverly enjoyed taking care of the elderly and treated them as if they were her own family. She had many hobbies including reading, cooking, word search puzzles and she enjoyed going to the beach. Beverly’s most important role was being a mother to her three children, Franchelle, Corie, and Justin. She also loved spending time with her two young nephews, Myles and Jackson, whom she treated as her own.
She was preceded in death by her father in-law Willie Neal Jr. and brother in-law Willie Curtis Neal of Winston-Salem, NC.
Beverly leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Dennis C. Neal; three dedicated children, Franchelle Pressley of Kernersville, NC, Corie Pressley of Mountain View, CA, and Justin Pressley of Winston-Salem, NC. She is survived by four siblings, Lisa Moore Markland and her husband Scott of Kernersville, NC, Tonya Moore of Kernersville, NC, Leroy “Wayne” Moore, Jr. of Belews Creek, NC, Daryl Moore of Davidson, NC, and her bonus brother and devoted cousin William “Cuda” Moore and his wife Jenny of Winston-Salem, NC.; and two nephews, Jackson Moore and Myles Moore of Davidson, NC. She is also survived by her mother in-law Mrs. Jessie Neal; brother in-law Craig Neal and his wife Rose all of Winston-Salem, NC; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beverly had so many special friends, too many to name. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the caregivers that helped so much during Beverly’s stay at the various facilities - we appreciate you so much.
