Betty Mozelle Yarbrough

Mrs. Betty Mozelle Murphy Yarbrough, 85, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born May 18, 1929 in Forsyth County to Sam and Beulah Murphy. Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and retired from the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hall Yarbrough and a sister, Norma Murphy. Surviving are four children, Roger Lee Yarbrough (Bennie) of Clover, SC, Faye Norman (Ben) of Charlotte, Gary Yarbrough (Sharon) of Mocksville and David Yarbrough (Penny) of Lawrenceville, GA; five grandchildren, Brian, Jeff, Jason, Brooks and Lee; six great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Seth, Sydney, June and Mason and two sisters, Peggy Campbell (Joe) and Sue Wall. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
