Betty Jo Woosley

Mrs. Betty Jo Woosley, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 4, 1940 in Grayson County, VA to the late Roger Clinton and Nita Combs Poole. Mrs. Woosley was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woosley was preceded in death by her husband, Lanier Woosley; a brother, Jim Poole; and a sister, Jean Edwards. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy N. Campbell and husband, Steve of Pinnacle; Tracy Pruitt and husband, Bobby of Walkertown; one son, Greg Norman and wife, Tonya of Quaker Gap; four grandchildren, Tyler, Amy, and Jacob Campbell, and Cloe Norman; three brothers, Bud, Bill, and Terry Poole; also, two sisters, Carole Morris and Linda Snow. A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Olivet Moravian Church with the Rev. Douglas Rights officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103 or to Victory Junction Gang Camp, Memorial Gifts, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC, 27317.
