Betty Barrow Wilson

KERNERSVILLE -- Betty Pearl Barrow Wilson, 79, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Betty was born on November 19, 1934, in Forsyth County to Paul Lorraine and Annie Elizabeth Parrish Barrow. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed the beach and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Lee Wilson; and two brothers, Clay and Conrad Barrow.

Surviving are her daughter, Anita Davis (Randy); her son, Tommy Wilson (Sherry); three grandchildren, Denny Davis (Victoria), Samantha Davis (Chris) and Christopher Wilson (Ashley); and four great grandchildren, Abigail Davis, Chloe Davis, Evan Davis and Lili Davis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Union Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
