Betty Ruth Wagoner Tysinger, 76, of Winston-Salem departed this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, January 2, 2011. Betty was born to Brady and Bertie Wagoner on March 8, 1934. Betty was raised in Hanestown, NC and worked at Hanes Mill. Betty then retired to devote her love and affection for her cherished mother, Bertie until she passed away in 1990. Betty's life was giving her heart while helping others, her long loved purpose while here on earth. She is survived by three sons, Michael Eugene Tuttle and wife Susan, Ricky Ray Tuttle, and Doak ""Rusty"" Martin; five grandchildren, Michelle Tuttle Goelzer, Bradley Tuttle, Bobby Martin, and identical twins, Ryan Martin and Dylan Martin; two great grandchildren, Landon Goelzer and Rachel Goelzer. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Reverend Mark Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 4 at the funeral home. Betty's most proud accomplishment was her wonderful family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Betty had sparkling blue eyes filled with compassion, and a beautiful smile that could light up any room, along with her contagious laugh. Betty will not only be remembered as a joy to be around, but a strong and courageous Christian who never complained. Betty was a mother who shared many lessons of life, never lose faith, always be kind to others, and the most special lesson is to love unconditionally. Our family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you for Betty's friends, the Butcher family, Jack Sweat, Michael Macey, Floyd Barney, Brenda Moorefield, Anne McKinsey, Judy and Kathy Hodges and with a precious blessing to Martha Martin. We would also like to thank the entire staff of The Crest for the excellent care given, filled with compassion and love. A special appreciation for the entire Hospice staff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may sent to Hospice and Palliative Care Center 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
