Betty Lou Vestal Smith

Kernersville - Mrs. Betty Lou Vestal Smith, 81, passed away January 20, 2011 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 16, 1929 in Forsyth Co. to the late Edgar Hobert and Pearl Cockerham Vestal. Betty Lou was a member of Kernesville Full Gospel Mission. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rufus ""Pete"" A. Smith, and a granddaughter, Mary Lou Branch. Surviving are, daughters, Kay Carolyn Smith Weston and her husband Edgar, Barbara Branch and her husband Roger Branch all of Kernersville, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two brothers, Calvin Vestal of Clemmons and Donald Vestal of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Kernersville Full Gospel Mission by Bro. Garland Glascoe and Bro. Roger Bailey. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
