Betty Jean Coleman Sias

Ms. Betty Jean Coleman Sias passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Twelve Oaks in Mt. Airy. She was born in West Virginia on October 23, 1937 to the late Wiley Coleman and Bessie Crump Coleman. In addition to her parents, Ms. Sias was preceded in death by four siblings. Surviving are seven children: David Sias (Shelly), Vicky Coleman, Phillip Sias (Rose), Penny Mears, Joe Sias, Jodi Sumner, and Mike Sias (April); nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby Doss. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at The Peoples Church Cemetery in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
