Betty Lee Mays

Ms. Betty Lee Sutcliffe Mays, 89, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on September 16, 1926 to Jim Sutcliffe and Cora Mort Sutcliffe in St. Louis, MO. Betty was known for her outgoing personality and friendly demeanor. Always full of energy, she was a welcoming, familiar face for those who dined at Trenwest Restaurant, where she was employed for many years. She is survived by her children, Jamie Lee Frazier, Michael Mays, and Pamela Mays; grandchildren, Cory Mays, James D'Avi and his wife, Teresa, and Michelle Butcher; great-grandchildren, Damon and Dalton D'Avi, Kimberly and Kayla Priddy; and great-great-grandchildren, Max and Mason. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine A. D'Avi. There will be a private family gathering. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel will be assisting the family
