Betty Lou Manuel Wright

Mrs. Betty Manuel Wright, 87, of Winston Salem passed away November 24, 2023 at Trellis Hospice.

She was born December 16, 1935 in Wythe County, Virginia to Preston and Hazel Arnold Manuel.

Her Husband of 54 years, Hershell Bennett Wright, passed away in 2014. She was preceded in death by five Brothers and three Sisters.

Surviving is a Daughter, Melissa Cervone; three Grandchildren, Sydney, Courtney, and Anthony Cervone; a Sister, Opal Aker of Virginia; and family members and friends.

Betty’s career was childcare, first in her home and later at Waughtown Baptist Day Care. She touched many lives with a love that only Miss Betty could give.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday November 30, 2023 at 1:30pm at Hayworth- Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Christa Warise.
