Mrs. Betty Crafford Larrimore, 80, of Rural Hall entered into her eternal rest Saturday, August 27, 2011. Mrs. Larrimore was born in Forsyth County on March 28, 1931 to Edmond F. and Mattie Mae Brewer Crafford. She was a member of Goldfloss Baptist Church. Mrs. Larrimore enjoyed singing with the King Hillbillies, going to the beach with her family and living with her longtime companion Jos, a yellow nape Amazon Parrot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas Larrimore, Jr., two daughters, Sharon Rose Larrimore and Martha A. Larrimore; and two brothers, Homer W. Crafford and Edmond F. Crafford, Jr. and a sister, Doris C. Furr. Mrs. Larrimore is survived by a son, Tommy Larrimore and wife Deborah of Yadkinville; two brothers, Harvey L. Crafford and wife Peggy, and Melvin R. Crafford and wife Nancy, all of Winston-Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John E. Sealy officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of the Mt. Valley Community Hospital Palliative Care and Physical Therapy center, as well as the staff at the Yadkin Nursing Care Center for the joy and happiness they brought her during her final days.
