Betty Jackson

Mrs. Betty Jule Mathis Jackson, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1930 in Henry County, AL to the late Rance and Ludie Whitehead Mathis. She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Benny Eugene Jackson. She is greatly loved and survived by six children, Benny Jackson (Melody) of Selma, CA; Cheryl Jackson Raymes (Ken) Evansville, IN; Becky Pierce (Dexter) of Winston-Salem; Rachael Jackson Lewis (Tony) of Stockton, CA; Mack Jackson of Evansville, IN and Scott Jackson of Fairfax, VA; ten grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessica Jackson, Courtney Nalin, Laura Rickard, Whitney Raymes, Stephanie Prevette, Spencer Pierce and Grayson, Christopher and Bailey Lewis and seven great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, March 9, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
