Betty Constable Ingram

Mrs. Betty Constable Ingram, 74, of Winston-Salem, met our heavenly father on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was married to Frank Ingram who preceded her in death. She was born one of nine children to John and Cora Eva Ealey Constable. John Constable and Myrtle Smith are the sole surviving siblings. Left to mourn her are her sons, Jim Ingram and wife Leslie and Mike Ingram and wife Teri; three grandchildren, Amy Wright and husband Bill, as well as Jonathan and Christopher Ingram; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Brooklynn Wright and a number of nieces and nephews, especially three very special nieces, Joe Martin, Pat Lawson and Bonnie Cummings. Also surviving are two faithful companions Gillie and Sarah Lee (loyal pets). Betty was an avid reader, known for her delicious cooking and baking and was always on the go. She was so full of life and had enough love in her heart to fill those within her family and many more. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2009 with Pastor Georgianne Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27013 or to the Doxie Acre Rescue Organization, P.O. Box 114, Germanton, NC 27019. The family would like to thank the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and all who contributed to her care. Online condolences may be sent to www.hayworth-miller.com.
