Betty Fay Kirby Hill

HILL - KING Mrs. Betty Fay Kirby Hill passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 27, 1937 in Stokes County to the late Katherine Walker and Ira Everette Kirby. Mrs. Hill retired from Westinghouse Electric Company and was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in King. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Kirby and her twin brother, Benny Kirby. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Don Hill; three daughters: Beverly Shore Watts (Andy), Vickie Shore Thomas (Tommy) and Susan Shore Roberts (Alan); six grandchildren: Bryan Watts, Ashley Watts Bannister, Tyler Thomas, Travis Thomas, Britney Mattos and Brandon Roberts; three great-grandchildren: Camden Watts, Eliza Watts and Wyatt Mattos. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in King with Pastor Kevin Broyhill, Pastor Roger Baker and Pastor Scott Vernon officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. The burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery on Rosebud Road.
