Betty Clifton Fowler passed away peacefully at Village Care of King on February 11, 2022.  Betty was born on April 2, 1933 to the late Thomas E. Clifton and Myrtle M. Clifton in Hamptonville, NC.  She was married to the late Norman “Honeybee” Fowler for 60 years.  She is predeceased by her brothers, Douglas Clifton, Gregory “Jeep” Clifton, Frank E. Clifton (Janice), Carlos Clifton and Steve Clifton.  Betty is survived by a daughter, Emilie Fowler; a grandson, Chancelor Vas; her sisters, Mary Clifton Blevins, Pat Aaron (John), and brothers Leon Clifton (Ivonne), and James Clifton (Dessie).  In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved each one dearly.  Betty was a member of Jehovah’s Witness since 1954 spending many years in the door to door ministry.  She touched so many lives of family and friends and all who knew her loved her and will dearly miss her.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Village Care of King for the excellent care given to Betty over the past four years.
