Betty Christine Scott Floyd

Betty Christine Scott Floyd, 77, passed on June 3, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County May 4, 1934. Her parents were Buford and Daisy Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd, son, Greg Floyd, sisters, Evelyn Ayers, Charlotte Kannon and Treva Ann Scott. Surviving are her children: Kim Langevin, Michael (Denise) Floyd, Kristin Floyd; grandchildren, Betsy (Jeff) Snow, Jonathan (Tina) Langevin, Jarret (Lyndsey) Floyd, Tyler Floyd; great grandchildren, Madison and Regan Snow, Lily, Levi and Luke Floyd; sisters, Helene Scott of Fernandina Beach, FL, Sonja Scott, Linda Williams of Statesville; brothers, Bill (Bobbie) Scott of Charlotte, Larry (Martha) Scott of Kernersville and a host of nieces and nephews. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with visitation one hour before the service. The family will also receive friends after the services at Mike and Denise Floyd's home: 1228 N. Main St. Walnut Cove, NC.
