Memorial Cemetery in Clinton, MS. This service is being held to honor Betty Everett, a great

grandmother, grandmother, mother, and friend who passed away on Friday August 12, 2022, in

Clemmons, NC. Betty was born in Bay Springs, MS on September 15, 1935, and was 86 years old

at the time of her death. Betty was employed for thirty‐seven years as church hostess at Alta

Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Betty is preceded in death by her husband William K.

Everett, her sisters Jesse Ruth McDaniel and Martha Hendry, her brothers, Roy Downs and

Cranford Downs. Betty is survived by her daughter Terri Lynn Everett, son Mike (Judy) Everett,

grandsons Thomas (Kati) Sandifer, William (Renee) Everett, granddaughters Kelsey (Greg)

Medlin, Leah Wilson, great granddaughters, Emma, Katlyn, Meghan and Olivia, great grandsons,
