Betty Foust Conrad

Betty Foust Conrad, 85, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Springwood Care Center. She was born in Wilkes County on February 2, 1931 to the late John Wesley Foust and Lola Bauguess Kanupp. Betty was a member of Olivet Moravian Church and longtime owner of Robinhood Restaurant known for her excellent cooking. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ned Conrad. Surviving is a sister, Ellen Miller of N. Wilkesboro and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Olivet Moravian Church with Rev. Matthew Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A special thanks to Ann Hemrick, Lynda Stewart, and Garrett Stewart for all the care and support given to Betty.
