Betty Campbell Cloaninger

Mrs. Betty Campbell Cloaninger, 74, of Winston-Salem, passed away on May 11, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Betty was born on September 20, 1941 in Forsyth County to Paul James and Mary Jenkins Campbell. Betty was of Baptist faith. She attended Gray High School. After 35 years of service, she retired from Dewey's Bakery. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, James Reuben Cloaninger; her niece, Donna Gail Campbell. She is survived by one son, Gregory Linn and wife Tammy of San Antonio, Texas; one grandson, Tyler Jordan Linn; one brother, James Lee Campbell and wife Judy of Winston-Salem and many nieces and nephews of the surrounding area. A special thank you to her special friends who gave Betty their love and help; whom are Bunny, Katherine, Dawn, Millie, Frankie, Peggy and Chris and ""Meals on Wheels"". Betty will also be missed by her loving companion dogs, ""Bear and Rambo"". A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Russ May officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:45 - 11:45 am Saturday May 14, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel.
