Betty Campbell Borre

Pfafftown Betty Campbell Borre, 61, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 17, 1951 in Union Grove, NC to the late Lealdon and Eloise Speaks Campbell. Betty was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a very loving mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were a brother, Woodrow Campbell and a sister, Wally Sharp. Surviving are a son, Richard Levan and wife Wendy of Advance and a daughter, Cindy Levan-Sauceda and husband Josh of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Levan and Heather Sauceda; three brothers, Albert Campbell and wife Louise, Willie Campbell, and Charles Campbell and wife Alameda; three sisters, Maudie Lou Cranfill and husband Joe, Becky Campbell, and Judy Scott; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2013 at Union Grove United Methodist Church with Dr. Jennings O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
