Betsy Hemrick Huie

Betsy Ann Hemrick Huie of Clemmons, 75, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009. She was born March 4, 1934, in Forsyth County to Clarence Keaton and Opal Swaim Hemrick. She was preceeded in death by her sons Darel Keaton Huie and Dennis Michael Huie; and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clarence Huie, of the home; son Clarence Huie Jr. (Libby) of Lewisville; daughter Rebecca Anne Huie of Oakboro; daughter-in-law Vickie Huie of Buckingham, Virginia; sister Mickey Harris; brother Chuck Hemrick; grandchildren Monica Sink Tucker (Mark); Elizabeth Huie Schaaf (Scott); DeaRae Huie Thomsen (Stephen); Amanda Berisford Arnold (Adam); Travis Sink; Leslie Berisford Wargofcak (Josh); Kathleen Huie; Tyler Huie; and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 pm Thursday September 3, 2009, at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home by Dr. Gary Chapman. Visitation with the family will be held afterwards.
