Betsy Harper

Betsy Ann Harper, 58, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.  She was born in Forsyth County on May 20, 1964 to Bruce and Shirley H. Harper.  Betsy graduated from West Forsyth High School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved to cook and has always worked in food service.  Betsy loved going to the beach, was a cherished friend to many and was a loving aunt.  Preceding her in death was her father and a brother, Jason Harper.  Surviving is her mother, Shirley H. Harper; brother, Kevin Harper; niece, Heather Cornine (Raymond); two great-nieces, Emma and Abby; great-nephew, Joel; sister-in-law, Amy Harper; two special friends, Karen Cox and Cindy Sisson; also surviving is her loving fur baby, “Rain.”  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 16, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Matthew W. Allen officiating.  Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cancer Services, Inc. 3175 Maplewood Ave. Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
