Bessie 'Bonnie' Wall Cox

WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Bessie ""Bonnie"" Wall Cox passed away Tuesday, June 07, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 12, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late Lilly Caudill Wall and Robert M. Wall. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Alvin W. Cox; one son, Michael W. Cox (Suzy); two daughters, Sandra Swink and Lisa Beasley (Sam); four grandchildren, Amanda Lashmit, Penny Branton, Samantha Swink and Madison Beasley; four great-grandchildren, Austin Lashmit, Melody Lashmit, Travis Smith and Kylie Eller; one sister, Margaret Landreth; one brother, Bobby Wall (Nellie); and also, a special friend and loved one, Betty Wall. A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with the Rev. Randy Wall officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
