Bessie McCormick Bunker

Mrs. Bessie McCormick Bunker, 81, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Autumn Care in Mocksville. She was born January 31, 1930 in Surry County to Elijah and Pearl Moore McCormick. Mrs. Bunker was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her husband, Max Bunker; three sons, Tim Bunker and wife Barbara of Advance, Chris Bunker and Tony Bunker and wife Debbie, all of Clemmons; a grandchild, Brandon Bunker; two step grandchildren, Marcia Bean and Carla Miller and a sister, Annie Ladd. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davie, 377 Hospital Street, Suite 103, Mocksville, NC 27028.
