Bertha Garris Triplette

Bertha Garris Triplette, 91, of Winston-Salem went home to be with her Savior on
February 1, 2016. She was a loving wife and mother, and a faithful child of God.
Bertha was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for nearly 70 years. She was also a
loyal and longtime supporter of Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina. She was
preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ray Triplette; by her daughter, Carolle
Triplette James, of Virginia Beach; and by her son, Gene Triplette, of Winston-Salem.
Bertha is survived by her son, Kim Triplette (wife Kathy) of Winston-Salem; and her son,
Keith Triplette (wife Wanda) of Stanley, NC. She also has seven grandchildren: Kristi
James Yarnall of Oak Hill, VA; Michelle James Wyles of Virginia Beach; Ryan Triplette
of Washington, DC; Stacey Triplette of Pittsburgh, PA; Matt Triplette of Seattle, WA;
Heather Triplette of Stanley, NC; and Alex Triplette of Stanley, NC. Bertha also has five
great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February
6th, at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem with Rev. Mike Gates. The family will
receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any
donations be made to Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, PO Box 338,
