Bertha Ann Rising Adams At 3:04am Sept 21, 2011, God finally told Dad, Thomas Ward Adams, he could go out those gates of pearl, to bring our precious little Momma back to the mansions God had prepared for them. We are certain those streets of gold had dancing feet on them, once they were back together and in the presence of their Father and Saviour Jesus Christ. They both were born on May 27th Dad in 1925 & Mom in 1931, they were married 54 yrs when Dad went home to be with Jesus, Sept.28th,2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents A.B. and Rose Marie Josey Rising, her sister Cora Lee Rising, her son Thomas Clay Adams, and her daughter Kathryn Adams Hutcherson. She leaves behind her daughter Carroll Adams and son Craig Adams, his wife Barbie of Rock Hill, SC. Her grandchildren, Gwen Sheets of Winston Salem, Sean Sheets of Rock Hill, Brantie Britt of Randleman, NC, Heather Sheets Pilkington of Dallas,NC, Danielle Adams, Austin Adams & Daniel Adams of Rock Hill. Monday Sept. 27th visitation will begin at 10am the celebration of her life service at 11 all at Ardmore Baptist Church on Miller St in Winston Salem, there will be at graveside service for the burial of Mr & Mrs Adams\' cremains at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family ask that memorials be directed to Ardmore Baptist Church or Hospice.
