Bernie Dean Gross

GROSS - WINSTON-SALEM Mr. Bernie Dean Gross passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was born August 6, 1960 in Forsyth County the son of Addie Josephine Hutchens Gross and Bernie William Gross. Bernie loved life and enjoyed working on cars. He was an avid fisherman and Nascar fan, pulling for the #9 car. Bernie loved his job and friends at Spevco, Inc. In addition to his parents, Bernie is survived by: two sisters, Sharon ""Sissy"" Gross and Janet Locklear (Les); a very special nephew, Zack Locklear; his favorite aunt, Pam Watson; special friends, Thad and Chris; and also, many other extended family members. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Skip Furrow and the Rev. Chuck Carver officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, February 24 at the funeral home.
