Bernice Grandstaff Maranville

Kernersville- Mrs. Bernice Mae Grandstaff Maranville, 92, passed away Wednesday, Jun 26, 2024, at her residence. She was born April 9, 1932, in Fairmont, WV., the daughter of George and Beatrice Rice Grandstaff. Bernice was retired from Volvo Trucking and was an avid league bowler and secretary at Countryside Lanes in Kernersville. She was well respected in her profession, a hard worker and never met a stranger, talking to everyone. 

Bernice is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Wilton Maranville; a son; a granddaughter Laura Williams; a sister Sarah Campbell and her son-in-law, Perry Williams. 

Survivors include her daughter, Carole Williams of Kernersville; her son, Charles Maranville of Kernersville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 10 am Tuesday July 2, 2024, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday July 1, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
