Bernice Clodfelter Joyce

Mrs. Bernice Clodfelter Joyce of Winston-Salem, entered Heaven on August 1st, 2016. She was born to the late C. Gid Clodfelter and Lelia Cline Clodfelter on March 3, 1922. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, retired from AT&T, and a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Mode L. Joyce, her beloved son Terry L. Joyce, sisters Elvia Pope, Mildred Brown, Vertice Sechrist, and brother Dumont Clodfelter. She is survived by two special grandsons Jeff (Christy) Joyce of High Point, NC and Steve Joyce of Lexington, NC, special great-grandchildren Zach, Maddie, Lindsay, Corey, Kayla, and Emma Joyce, daughter-in-law Sue Joyce Alexander and niece Carol Dowell. A private graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 5th, 2016 at 3:00 PM for family and friends. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the Joyce family.
