Bernell Branch Sides

KERNERSVILLE-Bernell Branch Sides 77, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born October 3, 1932 in Davidson Co. to the late Charles and Tessie Childress Sides. Bernell retired from Western Electric (AT&T) after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Sides; and a sister, Irene ""Peggy"" Harp. Surviving are her son, Tony Sides of the home; three grandchildren, T.J., Cody, and Josiah Sides; a sister, Betty Hammock and husband, Maynard of Walkertown; two brothers, Charlie ""Pete"" Branch and wife, Phyllis of Lexington, and Donald Branch and wife, Phyllis of Winston Salem. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Chaplain Ann Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
