Benjamin Michael Chandler

Benjamin Michael Chandler, 25, passed away at home on Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born in Forsyth County on January 8, 1992 to Lloyd D. and Jo Ann Brown Chandler. Ben attended Reagan High School, Forsyth Country Day School and graduated from Forsyth Tech with a degree in science and had plans to earn a degree in pharmacy. He loved music, going to concerts with his brother, and especially playing with his dog. Benjamin enjoyed his time working at Rite Aid as a Pharmacy Tech. Preceding him in death was his father, Lloyd D. Chandler. Surviving is his mother, Jo Ann Chandler; brother, Brian Chandler; paternal grandmother, Margaret Chandler; maternal grandmother, Mildred D. Kinney; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his special dog, ""ZuZu""; also surviving are many friends. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Lewisville United Methodist Church with Dr. Ivan Peden and Rev. Susan H. Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to a charity of choice.
