Mr. Benjamin Lee Bolton, 63, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home. He was born to the late Charles Corson Bolton, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Greene Bolton on January 31, 1961, in Forsyth County.
Ben graduated from Parkland High School’s class of 1979. He married the love of his life on October 4, 1996; when he also started his chosen journey of fatherhood. He spent over 40 years of his life as a Rodeo Clown, Bull Fighter, and Rodeo Announcer. His main career was being a Bus Mechanic for the WS/FCS from which he retired. Ben was a friendly and caring man who could make a friend out of anyone. His most cherished work was sharing the gospel of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ by teaching Sunday School at his church, bible studies at local nursing homes and preaching Cowboy Church at rodeos.
In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Walter Bert Billings; sister-in-law, Debra Ann Pilcher; and brother-in-law, Stephen Bert Billings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Emma “Tina” Bolton; daughters, Hannah Billings, and Grace Bolton; grandchildren, Ariel Jones, Shane Sims, Jr., Forrest Ligon, Chatham Billings, and Sawyer Sims; Brother, Charlie Bolton, Jr. (Ruth); sister, Jan Carver; nephews, Justin, Travis, Joshua and James; nieces, Candace, Becca, Amanda, and Samantha. Great nephews Joseph, Aiden, Reuben, Kolton & Finn. Great niece, Ellie and special family friend Laura Garner.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at 7:00 - 9:00pm on April 18, 2024, at Rosemont Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on April 19, 2024, at Rosemont Baptist Church.
