Belvin Eugene Eller

Mr. Belvin Eugene Eller, 90, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the Brighton Gardens in Raleigh. He was born May 25, 1919 in Davidson County to Charles F. and Lessie Viola Jenkins Eller. Mr. Eller was a veteran of World War II serving in the Southwest Pacific. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and retired from AT & T in 1981 with over 30 years of service. He was a former resident of Creekside Terrace in Winston-Salem. Mr. Eller was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Virginia Hege Eller. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Diane T. Eller of Raleigh; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Huffman of Tupelo, Miss..; two grandsons, James and Joshua Huffman. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Midway United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. John C. Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407 or to the Midway United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 9795 Old Hwy. 52 South, Lexington, NC 27295.
