Kernersville – Mr. Barry Lee Sizemore, 67, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Kernersville Medical Center. He was born on April 6, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio to Fred and Delta Sizemore. Barry was a 1975 graduate of Parkland High School. He was previously employed with Penn Engineering and Pharmagraphics. Barry was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football and Cincinnati Reds Baseball. He also enjoyed watching movies, playing the lottery, and loved his pets. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Barry was preceded in death by two brothers, Freddy Sizemore and Jeffrey Sizemore. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Sizemore; three children, Ryan (Megan), Lee, and Shana (Cody); seven grandchildren; his father, Fred; two siblings, Gary and Joyce (Dennis); as well as one sister-in-law, Brenda. 

A memorial service for Barry will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barry’s honor may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society at 4881 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
