Barry Lee Seidel

Mr. Barry Lee Seidel, 61, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1947 in Berk County, PA to Belvin and Ruth Nester Seidel. Mr. Seidel was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceding him in death was his father, Belvin Seidel. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Seidel; two sons, Barry Seidel (Karen) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Bryan Seidel (Lori) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Bradley, Grant, Lauren, and Blake; also surviving is his mother, Ruth Grace and a sister, Sue Kraft (Earl ""Tink"") and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held 7:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4 A Oak Branch Drive Greensboro, NC 27407.
