Barry Lee Fennel

Mr. Barry Lee Fennel, 54 of Winston-Salem died Monday, May 24, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Fennel was born January 26, 1956 in Forsyth County, the son of John Fennel and the late Thelma Pendry Fennel. He was employed with RJ Reynolds as a fork lift operator until recently declining health. He was an avid Drag Racing fan and was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro. Mr. Fennel is survived by his father, John Fennel and friend Peggy Reid; sister, Annie Benge; and cousin Donna Snyder. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday May 27, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Danny Smith and Rev. Curt Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
