Barbara Gainey Warmack

KERNERSVILLE-Barbara Gainey Warmack, 76, (formerly of Tampa, FL) passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1933 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Burrell and Mary Sanger Gainey. She was a former member of Sulphur Spring Baptist Church in Tampa, FL. Barbara enjoyed the past few months of her life being able to spend time with her daughters and grandchildren in God's country, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney M. Warmack; two brothers, James and B.D. Gainey; a sister, Elsie Howard and nephew, Sean Lapushnak. Surviving are one sister, Ms. Mary L. Sidwell, of Tampa, FL; three daughters, Susan W. Vanderburg, of Kernersville, Jennifer Warmack-Spencer, of Eaton, IN and Cydne G. Paolillo, of Cary, NC; six grandchildren, Timothy ""Brian"" and Jacalyn Jean Chalfant, Rebecca E. Metcalf, Joseph M., Nicolas G. and Rocco V. Paolillo; nieces, Patricia A. Arnold and Mary Ellen Warmack; nephew, Michael J. Warmack; many other nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor D.A. Brown officiating.
