Barbara Scott Tuttle

Mrs. Barbara Scott Tuttle passed away May 6, 2011 at her home in Winston-Salem. The daughter of the late Beulah Ashby Scott and Cabble Scott, she was born on September 13, 1932 in Winston-Salem. Barbara's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 63 years, Arnold; loving daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Junie Michael; adored granddaughter, Joy Michael; and special loved ones: Lisa Smith, niece, Brook Motsinger, niece; Brenda and Mike Jennings, cousins; Jean and Ervin Robbins; Shane Robbins and Pam Smith. She is also survived by Buddy Scott, brother; Betty Hinkle, sister; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in her word, the most beautiful baby in the world, Sylar Motsinger, great-great nephew. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Canaan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chuck Ireson and Rev. Dana Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers are welcome. Memorials may be made in Barbara's memory to the charity of the donors' choice.
