Barbara Ann Canter Shipley

Mrs. Barbara Ann Canter Shipley, age 74 of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Shipley was born in Davie County, March 26, 1937 to the late George Albert (Bud) and the late Nancy Nattler Renegar Canter. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents Mrs. Shipley was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Shipley and one brother, Roger Renegar.
Surviving are one son, Andy (Susan) Shipley of Winston-Salem, Special grandchildren, one sister, Jane Canter and one brother George (Linda) Canter. Sister-in-law, Helen Renegar and special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 1:00 P.M at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Rev. Dan Nelson with burial to follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Monday April 18th. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
