Barbara Roberson Shelton

Mrs. Barbara Roberson Shelton, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born January 6, 1935 in Forsyth County to Beatie Richardson Roberson and Ernest Glenn Roberson. Mrs. Shelton retired from the Forsyth County Clerk of Superior Court. Surviving is a son, Glenn Shelton of McLean, VA. Also carrying her memory are her longtime friends, Connie Porter and Mary Ann Blue. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Douglas Rights officiating. There is no stated visitation. Donations are encouraged to be made to the following organizations, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, Hospice & Palliative CareCenter or to Senior Services, Inc.
