Barbara Ann Finlay Lunsford Rich

Mrs. Barbara Ann Finlay Lunsford Rich, 85, of Germanton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 4, 2025, at SECU Hospice of Yadkinville. Barbara was born on September 2, 1939, in Forsyth County, to the late Mr. Benjamin Duncan Finlay and Mrs. Catherine Whitaker Finlay.

Barbara was a devout Christian, a graduate of Piedmont Bible College and member of Freedom Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She loved to read and scrapbook in her free time. Barbara also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises, her favorite travel memory was her trip to Isreal. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all that knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Lisa Pendry Kempf (Bruce); her two sons, Mark Canter and Rick Canter; and her four granddaughters, Katie (Brice), Emily, Heather, and Amber (Adam).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00pm at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Jon White and Pastor John Byerly officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
