Barbara Adams Reid

Mrs. Barbara Adams Reid, 62, of Winston-Salem died Monday, May 18, 2009 at her home. She was born July 14, 1946 in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late H. Hershel and Opal Davis Adams. Mrs. Reid was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from Sara Lee following 41 years of service. Survivors include her husband, James M. Reid of the home; one daughter, Melissa Reid Smith and husband, Trevor of Wilmington; four brothers, Larry Adams of Yadkinville, Bobby Adams and wife, Dorothy of Lewisville, Donald H. Adams and wife, Sharon of Dobson and Kelly Adams of Pinnacle; and one sister, Margaret Slater and husband, Ronald of Lewisville. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
