Barbara Lee Brown Luck

Surfside Beach SC-Mrs. Barbara Lee Brown Luck, 84 died June 15, 2011 at her home in Surfside Beach. Mrs. Luck was born on June 22, 1926, in Guilford County to the late Willie Lee and Mary Ellen Davenport Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Luck and her nine siblings. Survivors include her son, Calvin ""Chip"" Wall, of Surfside Beach, SC; step children, Frank L. Luck, Jr. (Sherry) of Raleigh, Sharlene L. Gilchrist (Charles) of Indian Trail; three grandchildren; Allen Gilchrist (Amy) of Stallings, Scott Gilchrist (Tiffany) of Indian Trail, Marc Spinelli, of Raleigh; two great grandchildren, Rachel and Joshua Gilchrist. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday June 18, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Barry McGee and Joan Fuller officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 am Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
