Barbara F. Lounsbury

Mrs. Barbara F. Lounsbury, 70, of Lexington died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 1, 1944 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, Raymond and Lillie Cook Fordham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lounsbury. Survivors include one daughter, Lauri Bryant (Michael) of Jonesville; two sons, Billy Lounsbury (Amy) of Lexington and Chris Lounsbury (Susan) of Clemmons; eight grandchildren, Heather Tate, Dustin Haley, Alison, Anna and Morgan Lounsbury, Maison Lounsbury, and Noah and Eli McNeil; three great grandchildren, Haley, Ryan and Lilly Tate; one sister, Janet Hutchins of Stanleyville; and her four legged child, Daisey. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Kyle Caudle officiating.
