Barbara Jones Laughter

Winston Salem- Mrs. Barbara Ann Laughter, 80, beloved wife of James Bowers ""Jim"" Laughter, passed away peacefully with family on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. She was born February 8, 1932 in Forsyth Co. to the late Grover Cleveland and Katie Bolic Jones. Barbara Ann was a longtime and devoted member of Sedge Garden Methodist Church. Her 30-year career included long tenures with Graybar Electric, Kirkman Electronics and the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Souvenir Shop. She was a member of the Bid-n-Play Bridge Club for more than 50 years and played Canasta with friends regularly for more than 30 years. Barbara Ann is survived by her loving husband; her sister, Patsy Lewis; her brother, Randall Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Cash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. Barbara Ann requested that memorials be donated directly to Sedge Garden United Methodist Church, 794 Sedge Garden Road, Kernersville, NC 27284.
