Barbara Ann Kirkpatrick

Ms. Barbara Ann Kirkpatrick, 54, of Germanton, a friend to everyone, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1956 in Warrenton, NC to Handy and Barbara Smiley Kirkpatrick who preceded her in death. Ms. Kirkpatrick was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, especially history, and loved working in her yard. Surviving are two daughters, Stacy and Shannon Kirkpatrick; one son, Ricky Greer II, all of Winston-Salem; four granddaughters, Rebecca Jarvis, Kayla Ingram, Ashley Jarvis and Kelsea Ingram; one brother, Bobby Kirkpatrick and wife Judy of King; one sister, Kathy Kirkpatrick of Winston-Salem; and her best friends, Vicky Puckett, Jeannie Tickle and Susan Tickle. A private service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 5 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
