Barbara Ann Jones

Mrs. Barbara Ann Clark Jones , 84 , of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on February 25, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Barbara was born on April 23, 1931 in Forsyth Co. to Evelyn Madison Clark and Bernard Clark. She graduated from Gray High School with the class of '49. Barbara was a life-long member of Trinity Moravian Church. She loved to read, knit, travel, cook and she also loved the ocean. She and her husband whom she lovingly referred to as ""GC"" were lighthouse keepers at Cape Lookout. In addition to her mother, she was preceded by her husband ""GC"" Jones, Jr; brother, Donald Clark. She is survived by Cindy Reavis, Pam Harvey (Mark); grandchildren, Kevin Reavis, Chad and Garrett Harvey; cousins, Judy Grant and Kitsy Mathis. A graveside service for Barbara will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday February 28, 2016 at Salem Moravian Graveyard God's Acre with Rev. John Jackman and Rev. Bill McElveen officiating. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday February 27, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
