Barbara Jeffords

Ms. Barbara Jean Weller Jeffords, 73, passed away February 17, 2022.  She was born July 2, 1948 in New York to the late Clifford Alfred Weller and Ida Morris Weller.  Barbara had a special love for her grandchildren and loved her dogs, especially “Tucker.”  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Moser Jeffords; one son, William Brian Gallagher, and brother, Arthur Clifford Weller.  She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Boyd; son, Christopher Todd Jeffords and wife Kerri; five grandchildren, Jessica Hart and husband Alex, Hope Jeffords, Alyssa McHone, Abigail McHone, Chelsea Boyd; one great-grandchild, Grey Hart; one sister, Dottie Henkle and Husband Reggie, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Pegram officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening, February 20, 2022 from 6PM to 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
