Mrs. Barbara Jeanette Tuttle, 54, passed away Saturday July 3, 2021, at Woltz Hospice Home in Surry County. She was born August 26, 1966, to the late Paul Eugene Blake and Margaret Gough Blake in Forsyth County. Barbara was a 36-year veteran of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System dating back to her part time work of driving a school bus while in high school. She was the 1994 WSFC Bus Rodeo champion, the NCWISE database manager, and enjoyed helping students with special needs during her down time. Barbara took care of everyone in the family but especially adored her grandchildren who were her life. She was also an excellent shooter and loved her fur babies dearly. She is survived by her loving Husband Scott Tuttle, her two children; Joshua Slater (Catlin), and Miranda Tuttle; two grandchildren, Johnathon Slater, and Thomas Slater; her mother, Margaret Blake; one brother, John Blake; two nieces, Abbie Blake, and Emily Blake. There will be a Memorial Service conducted 2:00 PM Sunday July 11, 2021 at Old Roaring River Baptist Church, Traphill, NC with Rev. James Pardue officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
