Barbara Hann Gregory

Mrs. Barbara Hann Gregory passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 13, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Florence Plowman Hann and Jessy Cleveland Hann. Mrs. Gregory was a very special and strong woman who fought an extended battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hann. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Johnny L. Gregory; three loving daughters: Lesa Gregory Joyce, Teresa Gregory Vawter (Chris), and Paula Gregory Long (David); three granddaughters: Jessica, Ashely, and Carley; two great-grandchildren: Piper and Paxton; and one sister, Wanda Diane Lunsford.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 13 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Lee Hunt, Minister officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at the funeral home.
